Role: P2 Designer
Location: Paris, France
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Airswift is currently seeking a qualified P2 Designer to support the NDUNGU Project for one of our top clients in Paris, France. The successful candidate will provide high-quality drafting services as part of an integrated project team. The role involves utilizing AUTOCAD 2022 and INVENTOR VAULT to create and manage technical drawings and documentation for engineering designs.
Role overview Develop 2D and 3D piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement (GA) drawings using AutoCAD or 3D design software like Inventor, SmartPlant, or PDMS. Ensure proper routing of piping systems considering space constraints, support, and safety. Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, industry codes (e.g., ASME, ISO), and company standards. Coordinate with engineers to interpret P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and integrate them into the piping model. Manage and organize design files using platforms like Vault or other data management tools. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) and fabrication documents. Work as part of an integrated team with engineers, other designers, and project managers. Participate in design reviews, clash detection sessions, and field verification when needed. Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in AUTOCAD 2022 (2D & 3D) Experience with INVENTOR VAULT Diploma or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field. English proficiency at a technical level Relevant technical certifications in AutoCAD, Inventor, or piping design are a plus. 3–6 years of experience in piping or plant design (mid-level). Experience working on EPC projects or within oil & gas / energy / industrial sectors. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and engineering drawings. Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO). Context Environment
This position will be based on-site in Paris to facilitate access to technical input data and ensure effective collaboration with project stakeholders.
