Key Responsibilities:
Create work orders in SAP to initiate shop or field jobs in coordination with the Planning Team.
Set up new customers and contracts in SAP, ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer processes.
Support the commercial team in quoting work scopes, managing parts, and logistics.
Assist the billing team with cost accumulations, invoicing, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
Coordinate with engineering to ensure timely work scoping for shop and field jobs.
Provide “all-hands-on-deck” support for Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
Manage customer badging and access to airport properties.
Comply with safety requirements, participate in investigations, and escalate issues to leadership.
Participate in GENBA walks to identify defects and risks, and work with the team on solutions.
Lead and participate in LEAN events using GE Flight Deck Lean methodology to drive continuous improvement.
Apply continuous improvement principles to standard work, identifying sources of waste and customer dissatisfaction.
Availability to work flexible shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability and willingness to support calls during off-hours for emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 1+ years of aircraft engine maintenance operations experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of aircraft engine maintenance operations experience).
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis tools.
Previous experience with LEAP, GE90, CFM, CF6, CF34, and GENX engines, including international field experience.
Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Engine Shop Manual procedures.
Demonstrated skills in quality, compliance, EHS, and customer satisfaction.
