The moment a guest steps into our hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Service Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a seamless experience... you’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home. **Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:** + Daring to connect- be the one to make the first move with a guest; say hello first, take action first. + Adapting to the moment- read a guests mood, change according to what they may need in that moment. + Relating to our guests needs- ensure we know what is important to our guests and focus on perfecting this. + Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone. + Supporting the Night Manager in ensuring the safety and security of guests overnight. + Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings. + Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless. + Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill queries to restaurant recommendations. **What we need from you:** + Previous customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality industry + Previous experience with Opera (PMS) + Computer savvy and particularly versed in Microsoft Excel + Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous + A passionate team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads + Ongoing 7-day availability to work overnight shifts (11pm-7am) + Basic mathematics skills + You must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia **What you can expect from us:** We give our people everything they need to succeed.
