**Job Title: Overlay Assembly (Carpenter) $20.25/hour** **1st shift Hours** **MUST BE ABLE TO GO OUT OF TOWN FOR 2 WEEKS FOR TRAINING (EVERYTHING PAID FOR)** **Responsibilities** · Perform advanced carpentry tasks such as framing, windows installation, and trim work. · Performs all duties safely and efficiently, ensures the safety for all in the work envelope. · Responsible for producing high quality products to include required quality checks and reporting. · Ability to identify sections and what sections are used in the building of custom design garage doors. · Must know how to set up and use routers and saws, to include performing minor adjustments to the equipment in order to produce a quality product. · Fluent in the reading and implementation of blueprints and cut sheets. · Advanced measurement skills to include the use of tools such as calipers to identify part specifications and gauge tolerances. **Essential Skills** · Fluent with blueprints and cut sheets. · Intermediate computer skills to include Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. · Understanding of inventory control practices. · Carpentry level mathematical skills. · Mastery level of measurement skill, in line with trim or cabinetry carpentry. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team committed to producing the highest quality products. It requires standing throughout the entire shift and handling physical tasks such as lifting and carrying door panels. Teamwork is essential for tasks exceeding 45 pounds, and manual dexterity is required for handling small objects and repetitive motions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, KS. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $42120.00 - $45240.00/yr.
