Job Summary:
As an Outsourcing Governance Senior Associate (AVP) in the J.P. Morgan Ireland Outsourcing Governance team in Dublin you will be an outsourcing subject matter expert and strengthen our outsourcing framework across our regulated legal entities in Ireland. The Outsourcing Governance Senior Associate (AVP) will be in key member in monitoring, regulatory, inter-affiliate and firm-wide obligations whist keeping well-informed of the Irish outsourcing regulatory requirements and expectations and also the broader EMEA regime regarding outsourcing. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and as part of the team you will also be able to gain exposure and contribute to legal entity, local, regional and global initiatives. The role holder will support our strategic agenda, participating in and supporting our evolving Outsourcing framework, enhancing the overall control environment and working to proactively mitigate risk through effective governance.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute and implement Outsourcing Governance priorities and tasks.Monitor industry and regulatory outsourcing regulations, expectations and obligations and assess the changing requirements with stakeholders.Ensure continuous update of the Ireland Outsourcing Governance framework to support changing products and regulatory demands. Prepare committee, forum and Legal Entity Board reporting.Build positive relationships through on-time delivery of commitments and ensure effective communication with our stakeholders across the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defence.Deliver constructive challenge and manage the resolution of stakeholder queries.Participate in local, regional, line of business and firmwide initiatives.Support in delivering effective Outsourcing Governance management, control and monitoring processes.Collaborate with partners in UK, the EEA and other locations to drive synergies in processes and framework.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Proven ability to deliver on local firmwide objectives through supporting regulatory related projects. Have demonstrated experience managing stakeholders, building relationships and supporting them towards achieving the expected outcomes.Attention to detail, excellent organisational and planning skills.Deliver results with a high level of professionalism, self-motivation and integrity.Strong team player with proactive approach. Experience problem solving and decision making skills with an ability to work on own initiative and as part of a high performing team. Ability to demonstrate ownership, work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)Ability to lead meetings with multiple stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions, at all levels of an organisation.Ability to make sound decisions, including escalation when appropriate.Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management – ability to communicate clearly at all levels through comprehensive reports and meetings.Action and outcome driven approach to deliver results within time limits.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for outsourcing and third-party management, including the Central Bank of Ireland (Investment Firms) Regulations 2023, the Central Bank Cross-Industry Outsourcing Guidance 2021, the Digital Operational Resiliency Act (DORA), and the European Banking Authority guidelines on outsourcing is preferred.
