ICE Mailroom Supervisor (on site)
Join our team in Williston, VT, as an on-site ICE Mailroom Supervisor. This role is crucial for managing the daily mail operations, ensuring efficient and secure processing of all incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including sorting and routing mail, processing financial documents, and managing shipping logistics, all while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security.

Schedule: 10am-3pm

MUST HAVE: The Contractor working on this project must have a favorable adjudicated public trust investigation unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer Representative.Responsibilities:Sort and route incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to the appropriate departments after security screening.
Manage the processing of all outgoing mail, including printing, gathering, inserting, and applying postage.
Process and track financial documents by opening, endorsing, numbering, and copying all received payments in the presence of a government employee.
Perform essential administrative and tracking duties, such as recording daily mail statistics and monitoring mailroom supply inventory.
Scan and digitize various documents, including vendor invoices and immigration bond correspondence, and assist with large-scale mailings.
Qualifications:Prior mailroom experience is required.
Proven ability to handle physical mail and packages, including sorting, routing, and processing.
Experience with mail metering and mail inserter machines is highly desirable.
Proficiency in creating shipping labels and scheduling pickups with carriers like UPS and FedEx.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and security protocols for sensitive documents and financial instruments.
