Tuesday – Friday Opening Shifts

Marin Country Club is a private country club located in Novato, California which offers its members a challenging course for players of all abilities. We are looking for a new outside services attendant to join our team who can help us deliver premier member experiences. We are seeking an individual with the following qualities:

Immediate opening for Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2 PM Shifts. Some Mondays will also be required.

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 plus daily tips

Job Type: Part-time (32 hours); potential for more hours based on performance. Possible promotion in a supervisor position with full time hours (40 hours) and with Corporate Healthcare Benefits.

Primary Job Responsibilities

· Assist members with...

o Loading of clubs on to riding carts.

o Cleaning clubs at the end of the round.

o Loading clubs to and from the member’s vehicle.

o Other miscellaneous requests such as lost items, help with their guests, etc.

· Ensure the driving range is fully always stocked with balls and tees for members.

· Bring bags to and from the bag storage room.

· Cleaning of our electric golf cart fleet.

· Cleaning our workspace, emptying trash, and various small projects to ensure a positive member experience.

· Positive attitude and member first mindset.

· On site availability: Must be highly reliable for on-time shift attendance, able to work early in the mornings.

Opening Shift Responsibilities

Shift Start: 6:00 AM

Shift End: 2:00 PM Golf Course Opens: 7:00 AM

The opening shift sets the tone for the day by preparing carts, equipment, and the driving range. Some members may arrive before 7:00 a.m. to use the range.

Opening Setup

1. Retrieve the tee sheet from the main clubhouse timecard station or the pro shop (check for updates).

2. Set up the driving range:

o Load 12 den caddies onto the Kubota.

o Fill mats with balls and leave 7–8 full den caddies on the range.

3. Bring up 8 electric golf carts to begin the day.

4. Bring up members’ golf equipment according to the tee sheet. This may include clubs, manual push carts, and electric push carts.

5. If using the Driving Range vehicle, set up ensuring that the ball picker is properly attached and ready for use.

During the Shift

· At the Bag Drop / Podium greet all members arriving or leaving for the day.

· Assist members preparing for play:

o Load clubs onto driving or push carts.

o Offer towels, scorecards, tees, pin-sheets, etc.

· Maintain the driving range:

o Ensure balls, tees, and den caddies are well-stocked.

· Assist members finishing their rounds:

o Clean and return their clubs to their vehicles or storage.

· Periodically return unused equipment to storage to prevent sun exposure and clutter.
