Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to support a brand-new delivery partner program in the New York City area by recruiting local businesses to join a new delivery network. You will focus on door-to-door field sales in targeted neighborhoods, presenting the program to prospective businesses, qualifying leads, and guiding them through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, support community-based recruitment events, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. The position is commission-based with uncapped earning potential and includes mileage and phone reimbursements.

Responsibilities

Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns, primarily in Brooklyn and the Bronx, to generate interest in the delivery partner program.Present and pitch the new program opportunity clearly and persuasively to prospective businesses and encourage them to apply.Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step-by-step through the application process.Own and manage lead activity in Salesforce, including entering new leads, tracking progress, and maintaining an up-to-date sales pipeline.Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.Partner with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of potential business partners.Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to meet face-to-face with business owners and stakeholders.Consistently follow up with prospective businesses to move them through the application process and convert them into active partners.

Essential Skills

1–2+ years of field sales experience, with a strong preference for door-to-door or outside sales.2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.Proficiency with CRM systems, with Salesforce experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience managing a sales pipeline and tracking lead activity in a CRM.Bilingual capability required, with priority given to Spanish, followed by Mandarin, and other languages as needed.Strong sales skills, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing.Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.Comfort with door-to-door outreach and engaging new businesses in person.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with community organizations, chambers of commerce, or economic development associations.Experience organizing or supporting recruitment, outreach, or promotional events.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools, particularly for data organization and import into CRM systems.Background in outside sales within urban markets such as New York City.Motivation to work in a commission-driven environment with uncapped earning potential.

Work Environment

This is a field-based sales role with in-person outreach up to 4–5 days per week across assigned territories in New York City, including coverage in Queens and Brooklyn. You will spend most of your time visiting local businesses, attending community events, and meeting with stakeholders face-to-face. The position involves frequent travel within the territory, with mileage reimbursed at a set per-mile rate and a monthly phone reimbursement to support field work. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors while maintaining a high degree of independence in your daily schedule. The environment is fast-paced and performance-driven, with uncapped commission potential and bonuses tied to applications and partner readiness for launch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
