Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Job Description

The Outside Sales Representative generates sales, builds strong client relationships, and delivers excellent customer service while supporting the full sales cycle. This role trains clients on the use of products and services, maintains accurate customer records, and consistently works toward achieving defined sales targets. The Outside Sales Representative also conducts market research to identify potential clients and stays informed about industry trends to support business growth.

Responsibilities

Generate new sales opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up activities.Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets by effectively promoting products and services.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and support.Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.Train clients on the proper and effective use of products and services, ensuring they understand key features and benefits.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact information, interactions, and sales activities.Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to better position products and services.Collaborate with internal team members to support client needs and ensure a positive client experience.Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, track sales activities, and organize client information.

Essential Skills

Proven sales skills with experience in generating sales and achieving targets.Experience in inside sales and outside sales environments.Account management experience with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships.Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs promptly and professionally.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.Experience in training clients on product usage and explaining features in a clear and accessible way.Proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to take initiative.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.

Demonstrated ability to conduct basic market research to identify potential clients.Ability to stay informed about industry trends and incorporate insights into sales activities.Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Strong attention to detail when maintaining customer records and preparing reports.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Environment

The Outside Sales Representative works onsite in a professional office environment. The role involves frequent interaction with clients and internal team members, both in person and through phone and digital communication. Standard office technologies, including computers and Microsoft Office applications, support daily tasks such as record-keeping, reporting, and client communication. The position operates in a structured, goal-oriented setting where meeting sales targets and delivering high-quality client service are central to success.

This is a Permanent position based out of West Memphis, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
