As an Outside Sales Representative, you will maintain ongoing communication with current clients, proactively reaching out to understand their plumbing or water-related concerns and recommending appropriate solutions. You will use company pricing tools and insurance parameters to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for repairs or replacements, guiding customers toward the best option and securing the sale. Serving as a knowledgeable point of contact, you will offer clear and reliable information to help customers make informed decisions. Additionally, you will utilize prospecting tools to follow up on leads for residential and commercial clients experiencing water damage or plumbing issues.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and present solutions for addressing water-related property damage in homes and businesses.Conduct on-site evaluations to measure moisture levels, determine the extent of damage, and assess whether demolition, drying, or other restoration steps are necessary.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of customer interfacing sales experience.Self-motivated and eager with an upbeat attitude.Strong customer service orientation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in sales, especially in selling services, is advantageous.Experience in door-to-door sales, particularly if successful.Water Restoration knowledge is a plus.Background in construction sales can be beneficial.Experience in pest control sales can be considered, contingent on past success.Work EnvironmentThe role of an Outside Sales Representative, internally referred to as a Field Supervisor, requires working one of the days on the weekend at least every other week, with the best selling times being evenings and weekends. The expectation is to start shifts in the office on weekdays. Work schedules are flexible to meet current demands, with shifts such as 8 am to 4/6 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm. The team currently includes 4 Excavation Sales and 4 Water Restoration members. Training is provided over 4 to 6 weeks, and there is an uncapped commission structure. You must use your own car, with mileage reimbursed at $0.725 per mile, paid weekly on Wednesdays.
