Outside Sales Representative — HVAC & Mechanical
Location: Sacramento, CA

Are you an experienced HVAC or Mechanical sales professional seeking a dynamic and growing organization? Do you know the industry landscape and customers inside out — ready to hit the ground running? Our client, a growing leader in trade-specific HVAC and Mechanical parts distribution, is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join their Sacramento team and help expand into Oregon.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conduct face-to-face, phone, email, and virtual sales calls with potential and existing customers.

Leverage your existing customer relationships and industry knowledge to gain quick traction in the market.

Provide exceptional customer service to cultivate repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Collaborate with branch leadership to communicate product and market opportunities.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries, pricing requests, and disputes.

Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases.

Develop and execute effective sales strategies and forecasts.

Meet personal and branch sales and expense budgets.

Participate in sales training, product knowledge sessions, and industry trade shows.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in building materials or at least 2 years specifically in HVAC sales with relevant education/training.

Proven knowledge of residential HVAC systems.

A well-established book of business with HVAC and Mechanical contractors.

Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work independently and within a team.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

High degree of integrity and sense of urgency.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
