We’re looking for an Outside Account Representative in the heavy equipment industry!
Our client is a leading supplier of specialized construction equipment solutions across Western Canada. With a strong commitment to service excellence and long-term client partnerships, they support industries operating in some of the most challenging environments in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.
The Outside Account Representative will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating internal resources to meet client needs. Note this position requires an average of 25% travel throughout BC, AB, Yukon, and NWT.
Outside Account Representative responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for key clients across the assigned territory Understand each client’s goals, operations, and challenges to provide tailored solutions Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and internal resources to ensure smooth execution Manage and resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner Develop new business through referrals, networking, and lead generation
The successful candidate has: 3-5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client service roles – preferably in the construction/heavy equipment industry. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred) Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results A willingness to travel 25%
Compensation and benefits: $120,000 OTE with a $60,000 base salary. Uncapped commission structure. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage Car allowance Company-matched RRSP program (up to 5% of base salary)
