The Outside Commercial Sales Representative at Batteries Plus will maintain and grow an assigned commercial sales portfolio in the Trenton-south jersey/Greater Philadelphia region. The Outside Commercial Sales Representative will provide outside sales, support, analysis, and customer service to the commercial customers of Batteries Plus, while ensuring the commercial sales processes are being followed.
As an Outside Commercial Sales Representative for Batteries Plus, you will have an assigned field territory in the city, state region. We are looking for hungry, hardworking, professional sales representatives with experience in selling at the Director level up to C level executives. Responsibilities:
Commercial Sales Process
Grow assigned territory sales and new customer accounts. Manage, retain, and expand commercial customer relationships; document using CRM. Create and execute customer action plan. Generate and qualify new leads and opportunities through scheduled appointments and cold calls. Contact and qualify prospects to establish commercial relationships. Assign prospects to correct commercial portfolio. Utilize sales and marketing materials in managing customer and prospect relationships. Collect and validate customer email addresses to support email campaigns. Manage and document customer and prospect relationships using CRM. Execute commercial sales process and provide feedback for process improvement.Reporting
Analyze and action commercial sales and activity reports. Annually, prepare and submit competitor comparison analysis.Customer Service
Coordinate with stores to provide customer service, order management and delivery support Foster team culture with the store, providing commercial training as needed Communicate customer and prospect information to stores to ensure they understand the relationship Prepare, deliver and follow-up product and service proposals to customers and prospects Execute customer and prospect communication plan including telephone calls, follow-up calls, emails, thank you's, and other print communication Initiate and promote B2B ordering where appropriateSupport
Comply with commercial customer pricing policy Reactivate lost or inactive customers Assist accounts receivable in collection activities Maintain strong understanding of competitors' capabilities and general market conditions Prepare special pricing and bid quotes as requested Work with the Batteries Plus team in market to improve selling culture and grow salesQualifications:
2+ years of work experience in sales 2+ years of experience in direct face-to-face business to business sales Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong customer service, relationship building, and problem resolution skills Excellent prospecting, negotiating, follow-up, and closing skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy; thorough knowledge of business plans and budgets Working understanding of Google Suite/Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new technology Ability to calculate algebraic expressions, percentages, ratios, and measurements Valid driver's license with clean driving record
