Job Description:

Location: Camp Smith, HI

Clearance Needed: Secret

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge of the US military’s use of data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI)? Do you have experience in the cross-sections of academic and industry outreach to bring in capabilities, and training advanced data and AI topics? Imagine yourself working on a top-level, critical mission alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring an Outreach and Training Specialist with a passion for improving the customer’s awareness, uptake, and upskilling of data analysis and AI uses.

Specific Responsibilities:

Proficient in data analytic concepts and frameworks, in addition to leading edge AI utility within the DoDUpdate and maintain course material and training topics, instruct and lead periods of instructionCoordinate engagements with academia and industry to lead awareness and implementation of data and AI solutionsEducate and mentor customer personnel on advanced data literacy and AI utility in alignment with DoD requirements and industry best practicesComfortably communicate with staff; collaborate with stakeholders to integrate considerations into project planning and executionExplain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiencesCapable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, and with minimal guidanceStrong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Required Education/Experience:

5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degreeBachelor’s degree in a related field such as Education, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems; advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s or PhD) are highly desirable.Demonstrable experience as a trainer, instructor, etc.Possess a strong data analytics or computer science background; experience with big-data and AI/ML conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsActive DoD Secret-level security clearance

Preferred Experience:

Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activitiesExperience with Palantir platforms (Foundry, Gotham) for data integration, management, and analysisExperience collaborating with academic institutions or industry partners to deliver training programs.Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
