Summary: The Dietitian’s primary responsibility is to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes education for patients of Prime Care and other outside medical practices. The incumbent will perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Prime Care. Job Duties and Responsibilities: + Documentation and filing of all nutrition assessments and provide correspondence to referring physicians. + Develop and implement nutrition group classes. + Develop nutrition education materials. + Provide support for Center for Preventative Medicine cooking class. + Provide outreach to the community + Health fairs + Medical resource council boards + Speaking engagements for television and radio + Maintain all certifications by attending and participating in continuing education. + Perform mandatory in-service training including but not limited to, harassment and OSHA, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. + Maintain patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations. + Works cooperatively with all team members to ensure quality patient care at all times. + Communicate respectfully and effectively with providers, clinical staff, colleagues, managers and others. + Adhere to Prime Care employment guidelines at all times. + Adhere to the Prime Care Physicians, PLLC Code of Conduct in performance of all job duties. _This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements_ _._ _Responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, and working conditions may change as needs evolve_ _._ _These responsibilities are subject to change at any time._ Qualifications: + BS Degree in Human Nutrition or Dietetics + MS in Health Education or Nutrition + NYS nutrition certification/license + Registered Dietitian + Certified Diabetes Educator **Pay Range: $30.45-$40.20** Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
