Position: Physical Therapist Assistant 

Location: NovaCare Bowie, Maryland

Compensation: starting at $29.00 Hr.

Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours with Two Evenings

 

 

Join our NovaCare outpatient orthopedic center in Bowie, Maryland, to be part of a respected clinical team delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are seeking a full-time physical therapist assistant to treat a diverse population of general ortho, neurology, vestibular, and sports medicine diagnoses. NovaCare Bowie welcomes new graduate physical therapists. Our large collaborative team's mentorship will ensure a successful transition from clinical to licensed experience.

 

We focus on personalized treatments that restore function and help patients get back to the activities they love, whether it's sports, work, or everyday life.

Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)CPR certification Additional Data
