**Job Summary**
The Outcomes Improvement Representative is key to Baylor Scott & White Health's strategies. The OI Representative trains, retains, and engages committed team members, who are the heart of BSWH. The goal is to improve quality and patient experience metrics. They teach efficient workflows in the clinic and EHR, considering financial and regulatory needs.
**Essential Functions of the Role**
+ Partners with clinic management and staff to identify learning needs. These needs impact operational, service, and quality effectiveness and efficiency. Reviews key reports and metrics on service, EHR, quality, referral/NUM, and financial impacts. Identifies opportunities for training and help.
+ Provides onsite and remote help to assist clinic team members. Troubleshoots issues and implements standard and best practices for patient care. Stabilizes clinic goals with BSWH's larger strategic vision to drive results. Participates in onboarding new team members to best practice workflows and concepts.
+ Serves as a liaison between clinic team members and EHR training, IS, and informatics teams. Disseminates key updates and communicates issues from clinics back to the technical teams.
+ Trains, mentors, and provides opportunities for clinic team members related to EHR, skills, service excellence, and quality. Models the BSWH core values with clinic team members. May be pulled to a frontline role at the discretion of leadership.
+ Studies reports and develops summaries to present data findings professionally, concisely, and readably for the content and audience. Documents and trains processes and reasons applied in reporting. Performs consistent quality reviews of data and report results.
+ Partners with clinical, operational, system, and frontline team members. May participate in committees and subcommittees. Knows different points of view and fosters trust, relationships, and communication to help create a Culture of Safety.
+ Identifies large-scale issues and proactively corrects and helps with solutions. Runs and participates in departmental, organizational, and system-wide programs. Joins committees and special projects to achieve target outcomes.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate thoughts clearly. Great first impression.
+ Able to relate to, interact with, and know about different personalities and people. Assumes good intentions.
+ General computer skills including EHR and related software applications
+ Must have problem solving skills
+ Knowledge of patient care standards and procedures. Experience doing the work helped preferred.
+ Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to consider and manage implications of change. Aligns managers to achieve outcomes.
+ Local travel 80% of time.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
+ EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
+ Basic Life Support (BLS): Must have BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
