Are you motivated by the thrill of connecting with businesses and driving sales success? As an Outbound Business Telesales Representative on Spectrum’s SMB team, you will engage outbound B2B prospects and existing customers, promoting Spectrum Business Internet, Voice, Video and Mobile solutions. Your performance will directly influence your earning potential and support Spectrum’s business growth.
How You Will Make an Impact
Conduct outbound calls to new and existing business prospects, introducing and selling Spectrum Business products and servicesConsistently achieve or surpass monthly sales quotas by securing new lines of service and upselling to current customersMeet daily and weekly activity targets, including outbound calls, follow-ups, quotes and sales conversionsCommunicate product features, pricing and competitive advantages clearly and professionally to build trust and rapportServe as a knowledgeable product consultant, recommending tailored solutions to meet business needsEnsure accurate documentation of interactions and sales activities in CRM systemsBalance lead generation with effective follow-up strategies to maximize conversion rates and customer satisfactionWorking Conditions

Required Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or general education degree required (GED)Experience
2+ years of call center experience or 1+ year in a sales or marketing roleSkills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishProven experience in outbound telemarketing or sales with a track record of meeting targetsKnowledge of telecommunications products and servicesExcellent negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to quickly build rapportProficiency in CRM software and call center technologyCapable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and work independently and collaboratively with othersProficient in MS Office and job-specific software applicationsPreferred Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related fieldExperience
2+ years of customer service or telecommunication sales experience1+ year of B2B sales experience or similar role, preferably in telecommunications or cable1+ year of experience with ICOMS, CSG or similar billing softwareSkills
Ability to turn cold calls into productive sales conversations with business clientsAdvanced negotiation and contract skillsFamiliarity with cable and internet services and industry trendsStrong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to learn new products, services and sales techniquesPositive, proactive attitude and ability to adapt to new challengesTeam-oriented mindset, contributing to shared goals#LI-MM4
