OtC Business Transformation Consultant – Squad Leader

Our culture of growth and empathy focuses on your long-term career development while valuing your unique skills and experiences. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Finance Transformation, you will help clients develop strategies that create and sustain competitive advantages. You will identify the necessary strategic capabilities and assess client performance gaps to drive comprehensive transformation recommendations. The OtC Squad Transformation Leader will oversee and safeguard the end-to-end Order to Cash process for her/ his respective squad and relevant Client deployments under the NorthStar program. The role includes providing process governance, ensuring alignment with all market designs to the global blueprint, eliminating unnecessary localizations, and securing consistency across Credit, Collections, Cash Application, Disputes, Trade Spend and Billing workstreams. The work includes coordinating stakeholders engagement, resolving design escalations, and ensuring that global artefacts, TOM structures, process maps, RACIs and design principles are consistently applied for the respective wave and market. The OtC Squad Transformation Leader will also oversee the work of the SMEs assigned to the respective squad across deployments, manage interdependencies with SAP, High Radius and OCM teams, and ensure process readiness and quality of deliverables for the Tollgates within her/ his area of responsibility. Your main responsibilities will include: * Own and safeguard the market OTC Process Design across all active and upcoming deployments, ensuring full alignment to the global blueprint, no unnecessary localisations, and consistent application of design principles. * Provide strategic direction, governance and SME steer to her/his respective workstreams (Credit, Collections, Cash Application, Disputes, Trade Spend/Trade Promotions), ensuring cross-tower connectivity and coherence. * Validate compliance of market designs with the global process and identifying mandatory vs. optional local deviations. * Drive engagement of all relevant stakeholders, including escalations, expectation management, issue resolution and alignment with Client GPO, Finance Directors, Programme Leads and Market Leadership. * Act as primary SME escalation point for her/his respective OTC workstream; ensure design integrity, quality of deliverables, and readiness for each Tollgate. * Ensure cross-region knowledge continuity by coaching and supervising SMEs, onboarding new team members, and guaranteeing consistent interpretation of process maps, TOM, RACIs, governance rules and design standards. * Oversee integration of technology solutions (SAP, High Radius, EY Connect, BPM workflows) into the end-to-end OTC design to secure a unified solution across all deployments. * Monitor and validate interdependencies between Process, Technology, OCM, and Data teams to drive delivery consistency and prevent downstream rework. * Represent IBM as the OTC process authority in design forums, governance boards, SU alignment sessions, executive meetings, and design assurance reviews. * Ensure quality and completeness of global artefacts, including playbooks, process maps, maturity assessments, RACI, TOM documents, master books and transition principles. * Support transition readiness through guidance on staffing, early SME onboarding and operational stabilization (hyper care). * Provide continuous risk identification and mitigation, ensuring program cadence is preserved and design remains executable for both operations and technology teams. This position requires Project Leading skills, team work and collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, ability to work under time pressure, expertise in technology - including cognitive tools, intelligent workflows, etc. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strong end-to-end Order to Cash process expertise. * Proven experience in global process ownership, governance and standardization. * Ability to manage multi-market deployments and complex cross-functional dependencies. * Advanced stakeholder management and escalation handling at senior levels. * Experience leading SME teams and ensuring quality of transformation deliverables * Fluent (executive) level of English **Preferred technical and professional experience** Solid understanding of SAP ECC/ S4 and High Radius capabilities as an asset IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
