Our UCLA West Valley Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time Orthopedic Technician to join our Orthopedic Surgery Department. In this hands on role, you will support physicians and provide direct patient care across a full range of orthopedic services. Primary duties include:

Assist with patient intake and orthopedic history review Apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints, braces, and other durable medical equipment Remove sutures and staples, assist with wound care and dressing changes Educate patients and families on cast/brace care and discharge instructions Support physicians during exams and procedures,, document clinical data Prepare injection materials and interpret basic orthopedic x-rays Manage patient flow, room patients, and monitor vital signs Maintain exam room and inventory of supplies and equipment Ensure proper insurance authorizations and documentations

Salary range: $26.39/hr – $34.86/hr
