All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** _30- 40 hours Monday - Friday shift while clinic is open 7am - 7pm_ **Shift** : _Days_ **Location:** 8000 RED BUG LAKE RD, Oviedo, 32765 **The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Sport Medicine and Rehab clinics **The role you'll contribute:** When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealths mission in the communities we serve. As an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action. **The role you'll contribute:** The Occupational Therapist Outpatient professional provides direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med & Rehab Department. Accepts the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Determines Occupational Therapy Diagnosis and establishes plan of care, make recommendations for referral if treatment needed outside of scope of Occupational Therapist practice. + Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills, activities of daily living skills and evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems. + Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patients needs. Monitors patients response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate. + Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policies and procedures.
