Position Purpose:
Preferred candidates should reside in one of the following cities: Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle, WA.
The Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic loss prevention initiatives related to organized retail crime across multiple regions. This role provides critical investigative support and process oversight, managing high-risk cases, field operations, and cross-functional relationships to reduce shrink and protect company assets.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conducting in-depth analysis of theft activity and organized crime trends
Leading field investigations, coordinating with internal AP teams and law enforcement (local, state, and federal)
Developing and executing strategic plans to address ORC-related shrink
Implementing process improvements and security protocols
Selecting, developing, and leading multiple direct reports across multiple regions
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of investigations experience in retail, law enforcement, or loss prevention
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience in managing teams or investigative operations
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Strong working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement
Experience leading ORC or fencing investigations across multiple regions
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Manages a regional team with full accountability for hiring, coaching, and development
Comfortable indoor office and field work environments
