Position Purpose:

Preferred candidates should reside in one of the following cities: Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle, WA.

The Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic loss prevention initiatives related to organized retail crime across multiple regions. This role provides critical investigative support and process oversight, managing high-risk cases, field operations, and cross-functional relationships to reduce shrink and protect company assets.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

Conducting in-depth analysis of theft activity and organized crime trendsLeading field investigations, coordinating with internal AP teams and law enforcement (local, state, and federal)Developing and executing strategic plans to address ORC-related shrinkImplementing process improvements and security protocolsSelecting, developing, and leading multiple direct reports across multiple regions

 

Required Qualifications:

 

7+ years of investigations experience in retail, law enforcement, or loss preventionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours and travel (up to 20%)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience in managing teams or investigative operationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experienceStrong working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcementExperience leading ORC or fencing investigations across multiple regionsBachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
