The PositionThe Opportunity
You will contribute to this role by forming part of the Supply Chain Team and will report directly to the Operations Lead. You will be responsible for working with Roche customers to improve Customer Service and to build a relationship with the customer. You will also be responsible to identify and deliver on opportunities to extract value from both Roche and the Customer’s supply chain – enhancing both businesses.
In your daily tasks you will ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation for the export market by coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, managing relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and resolving any issues that arise during the process.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure complete tracking of customer orders, from order receipt to delivery, ensuring compliance with customer needs and deadlines.
- Organize and supervise delivery operations, optimizing routes and transportation modes to minimize delays and costs.
- Prepare and manage all necessary customer documentation (invoices, certificates, proof of delivery etc.), ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Monitor customers’ stock levels, anticipate needs, and manage supplies to avoid stockouts.
- Analyze the customer journey and propose improvements to optimize customer satisfaction, particularly in terms of delivery times, communication, and problem resolution.
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs (transportation, handling, etc.) and lead times and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain good relationships with business partners.
- Monitor continuously supply chain and customer experience best practices and propose innovations based on a good understanding of customer needs and the ability to improve their experience.
Who you are
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 5 year experience in supply chain management, ideally in Central Africa.
- Master degree (4-5 years of higher education) in logistics, supply chain, management, or a relevant field.
- Fluent in English and French

- Proficiency in logistics processes, inventory management, transportation, and commercial documentation, ability to analyze data, identify problems, and propose improvement solutions.
