Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Processor to join our team on a contract basis in Elgin, Illinois. In this role, you will handle essential data entry tasks to ensure accurate and efficient processing of orders. Responsibilities: • Accurately input order details into the system, adhering to company standards and guidelines. • Verify the completeness and accuracy of data before final submission. • Manage numeric and text-based data entry tasks with precision. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or missing information. • Maintain organized records of processed orders for auditing and reporting purposes. • Utilize computer systems effectively for data entry tasks and order management. • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to meet processing deadlines. • Communicate with relevant departments to address order-related inquiries or issues. • Follow established procedures to uphold data integrity and confidentiality. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in order processing or a related field. • Proficiency in numeric and text-based data entry. • Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Familiarity with computer systems and data entry software. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and departments.
