Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to collaborate with the sales team, ensuring accurate pricing and customer requirement clarification. This role involves managing all phases of the order fulfillment process, from order entry to confirmation, purchasing materials, creating picklists and jobs, and maintaining customer records.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales to confirm pricing and clarify customer requirements.Perform all phases of order fulfillment, including order entry, confirmation, purchasing buy-to-order materials, creating picklists and jobs, and managing customer records.Enter customer orders accurately and ensure timely processing from quote to invoice.Follow up on customer orders to increase the percentage of on-time deliveries and communicate changes promptly.Answer phone calls and emails, qualifying incoming inquiries for proper routing and assistance.Assist customers with requests regarding order status, stock status, list pricing, tracking numbers, and more.Maintain written and electronic records of relevant customer correspondence for review.Develop friendly working relationships and positive rapport with customers.Monitor the progress of orders to ensure adherence to schedules, communicating with relevant employees to meet delivery times.

Work Environment

The role operates in a family-owned company with a tight-knit group, offering opportunities for growth. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wentzville, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
