We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service-related issues and offer solutions to our Commercial Sales Offices. **Thrive at work and at home:** + **Benefits** kick in on **DAY ONE** for you _and_ your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs that include generous incentives – **WE DARE TO CARE** ! + **Family building benefits** include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance. + **401K** **match** up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to **8%** company contribution. + **Paid time off,** including in support of **volunteer** and **parental leave** needs. + Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with **tuition assistance** and **student debt support** . + Learn more about our benefits here (https://careers.tranetechnologies.com/global/en/benefits) ! **Where is the work:** **On-site** (5 days) in Columbia, SC. **What you will do:** + Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Commercial Sales Offices nationwide + Process customer orders and manage them throughout their lifecycle + Answer incoming inquiries from Sales Offices regarding order changes, order expedites, product returns, and other general inquiries + Research and resolve any customer issues + Work cross-functionally with sales offices, product management, factories, logistics, and shipping to meet customer requirements + Proactively keep current on product knowledge and customer service standard work + Use problem solving skills to improve processes **What you will bring:** + Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. + 1-3 years of experience in customer service, inside and/or outside sales, preferably in an industrial environment. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) + Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Must show the ability to handle difficult situations while remaining professional and courteous + Must demonstrate the ability to build strategic relationships across functions of an organization + Must exhibit the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and take initiative to implement them + Must actively seek and apply new knowledge, assimilate information quickly, and contribute to a culture of learning **Compensation:** **Base Pay Range: $63,000 - $83,000** Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country.
