Order Fulfillment Specialist
Description Position Summary The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary connection between customers and Bay Advanced Technologies. This role is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, responding to inquiries, and supporting sales activities with minimal supervision. Success in this position requires effective use of company software systems (P21 and M2M) and collaboration with Field Sales Representatives on customer needs, joint visits, contract pricing, and inventory management. General Purpose To act as the customer‑facing liaison for order processing, sales support, and service inquiries while ensuring an efficient, high‑quality customer experience. Key Responsibilities Process customer orders quickly and accurately. Send order confirmations to customers. Generate and process customer quotes. Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing and delivery information. Check pricing and stock levels as requested by customers. Collaborate with Outside Sales to review and support quote activity. Send customer quotes and direct‑ship purchase orders to vendors. Provide Outside Sales with price and stock information. Answer incoming sales department phone calls and respond to voicemail messages. Expedite customer orders when needed. Provide customers with tracking information for open orders. Assist customers by specifying product solutions based on their descriptions. Print pick tickets for urgent or “hot” orders. Run pricing for BES items. Perform additional duties as assigned. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
