Job Title: Order Fulfillment Specialist
Job Description

The Order Fulfillment Specialist plays a critical role in managing stock allocations to prevent shortages in customer sales orders. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional business partners to align actions that mitigate out-of-stock risks while proactively managing customer expectations. The role directly impacts the service provided to our customers and requires working full-time from 8 am to 4:30 pm in a hybrid environment located in Solon, OH.

ResponsibilitiesManage demand by understanding parameters impacting the allocation process, such as ATP scope and Sales Order Horizon.Execute strategies from Operational Demand Supply Review to ensure stock allocation based on business priorities and customer prioritization.Leverage GLOBE functionalities to automate the allocation process in scenarios like short supply, promotions, new item launches, seasonal items, discontinued items, and price/pack changes.Identify and execute mitigation actions to allocate inventory to sales orders and prevent shortages.Communicate potential shortages to Customer Solution Analysts for mitigation actions requiring customer contact and issue resolution.Ensure timely delivery note creation and apply appropriate root causes for unconfirmed items.Collaborate with internal and external partners such as Transportation and 3rd Party Warehouses to ensure order fulfillment.Participate in Operational Reviews and monitor target achievements, relevant KPIs, PPIs, and Health Checks.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Order Fulfillment process in collaboration with the Center of Competence.Essential SkillsUndergraduate degree strongly preferred.2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain, including Order Management, Distribution, Inventory Management, Transportation, and Demand and Supply Planning.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven analytical aptitude with the ability to analyze and interpret data.Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills.Strong and creative problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Proficiency in SAP BW and Business Objects preferred.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & QualificationsAvailability and flexibility to work different shifts based on customer geography/time zone or for 7-day operations.Strong customer service mindset with a passion for delighting customers internally and externally.Demonstrates a strong desire to develop trust and long-term relationships.Proactively seeks continuous process and service improvements.Strong result orientation.Work Environment

The work environment is hybrid, requiring onsite presence Tuesday through Thursday in the 500 building. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and requires a professional dress code.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.37 - $23.37/hr.
