Job Description: Warranty Returns Specialist Position Summary Under the general direction of the Warranty Supervisor, the Warranty Returns Specialist is responsible for ensuring all returned products are processed with accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. This role plays a key part in evaluating warranty eligibility, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting overall warranty operations. Key ResponsibilitiesReturn Authorization & Product Verification + Review incoming returns to ensure all required documentation is included. + Confirm products fall within warranty guidelines and timeframes. + Assess products for warrantable defects based on established criteria. + Match returned items to corresponding receipts, system records, and return authorizations. System Processing & Documentation + Enter and maintain accurate product and shipping information in the system. + Report system issues or discrepancies to the appropriate department for resolution. + Maintain daily processing goals, with an expectation to complete all returns within 24 hours. Operational Support + Operate the cardboard recycling and bundling machinery in accordance with safety procedures. + Perform product destruction tasks as required. + Contribute to workflow improvements and support cross‑department collaboration. Required Skills & Qualifications + 1–3 years of experience in order entry or related administrative tasks. + Strong computer entry and data accuracy skills. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP). + Prior experience processing warranty claims. + Knowledge of baseball or sports equipment (a plus, not required). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dardenne Prairie, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
