Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Order Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering customer orders, responding to inquiries, and tracking orders using SAP. You will play a crucial role in ensuring communication between sales representatives, manufacturing personnel, and customers, particularly because our products are made to order and are not stocked in finished goods inventory.
ResponsibilitiesEnter orders placed by customers and answer/research customer inquiries.Track orders through SAP and communicate issues/information between sales representatives, manufacturing personnel, and customers.Generate deliveries and coordinate with the warehouse on shipments, ensuring large orders are palletized and planned accordingly.Interact with external and internal customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services.Manage complex territories and potentially solicit the sale of new products.Essential SkillsOrder entryCustomer serviceOrder processingProficiency in Microsoft Office and ExcelExperience with SAPAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.2-4 years related experience, preferably in a call center setting.Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.Regular and predictable on-site attendance.Work Environment
This role operates within a call center environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including a half-hour lunch break. Work will be remote on Mondays and Fridays, with on-site presence required from Tuesday to Thursday. You will have the opportunity to work with a trainer for 4-6 weeks to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
