Job Description
The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician is responsible for answering phone calls from providers and from the LTC Nursing homes/assisted living centers. This role involves using the Framework software for data entry and sharing the responsibility of claim adjudication with the team. The position is desk-based, primarily involving phone and data entry tasks. Please note that this role will not include cross-training in the pharmacy.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer phone calls from providers and LTC Nursing homes/assisted living centers.Utilize Framework software for data entry tasks.Handle claim adjudication and share this responsibility with the team.Essential SkillsExperience as a pharmacy technician, specifically in an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician role.Proficiency in using Framework software.Previous experience working at a Long Term Care Pharmacy, not retail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with claim adjudication and data entry.Knowledge of QS/1 and adjudication processes.Possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician license.Work Environment
This position is based in a closed-door pharmacy with a flexible shift schedule. You may start as early as 8:00 AM or as late as 9:15 AM, and the typical workday ends at 5:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Additionally, there is a requirement to work one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please bring your Pharmacy Technician license on the first day.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
