Job Description
The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in answering phone calls from healthcare providers, LTC Nursing homes, and assisted living centers. The role involves handling data entry using Framework software without cross-training in the pharmacy. This position also includes responsibilities related to claim adjudication, working collaboratively with the team.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer phone calls from providers and LTC Nursing homes/assisted living centers.Perform data entry using Framework software.Handle claim adjudication responsibilities, sharing tasks with the team.Work primarily at a desk managing phone interactions and data entry tasks.Essential SkillsPharmacy Technician certification.Experience with QS/1 or Framework software.Proficiency in order entry and claim adjudication.Additional Skills & QualificationsBring Pharmacy Technician license on day 1.Claim adjudication experience is preferred.Work Environment
This position is based in a closed-door pharmacy setting with a flexible shift. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:15 am to 5:45 pm, with the possibility to start as early as 8 am. Additionally, there is a requirement to work one Saturday per month from 9 am to 3 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
