Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our team in the Parsippany, NJ area. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting the order processing team for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves handling order entry, inventory updates, and customer service tasks to ensure seamless operations and timely shipment of products. Responsibilities: • Process and print purchase orders from customer portals with accuracy. • Update inventory data in Excel spreadsheets to maintain records. • Enter purchase orders manually into the internal order management system. • Organize and manage purchase orders effectively for smooth workflow. • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues. • Provide additional administrative support to the order processing team as needed. • Collaborate with team members to streamline order flow processes. • Ensure all sales data is captured and properly documented. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. • Previous experience in order processing is highly desirable. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel. • Ability to work with urgency while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Team player who can adapt to changing priorities and workflows. • Willingness to learn and follow established procedures. • Familiarity with accounting software systems, CRM tools, and ERP solutions is a plus.
