Description We are looking for a dedicated Order Entry Clerk to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth order processing and timely delivery for our fast-paced airline catering business. This is a Contract-to-ongoing position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term career development. Responsibilities: • Accurately input customer orders into the system to ensure seamless processing. • Verify product availability and coordinate with inventory and procurement teams to avoid stock shortages. • Collaborate with warehouse and delivery teams to meet shipping deadlines and maintain efficiency. • Monitor the daily order flow, promptly addressing any delays, issues, or discrepancies. • Manage order modifications, including rush requests, cancellations, and adjustments. • Process returns, issue credits, and resolve order corrections in a timely manner. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. • Support inventory audits and reconciliation efforts to ensure accurate records. • Work with Great Plains Dynamics software to manage order entry and related tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in order processing, inventory management, or logistics. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of pivot tables preferred; willingness to learn VLOOKUP functions. • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. • Familiarity with handling perishable goods or foodservice orders is an advantage. • Experience using Great Plains Dynamics software is preferred. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate across teams. • Capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
