Order Control Coordinator - 1st Shift - $23.25/hr

**Shift- Mon - Fri - 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM**
**The Order Control Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders within the distribution center. This position is responsible for coordinating order flow, monitoring inventory availability, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.**
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
**Monitor and manage daily order processing activities to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment.**
**Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, and transportation teams to resolve order discrepancies or delays.**
**Review and release orders based on inventory availability, shipping schedules, and customer requirements.**
**Maintain accurate records of order status, changes, and communications in the order management system.**
**Communicate with Customer Service, Sales, and Logistics teams to provide updates on order status and resolve issues.**
**Identify and escalate potential problems in the order flow process to minimize disruptions.**
**Generate and analyze reports related to order accuracy, fulfillment rates, and backorders.**
**Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.**
**Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.**
**Ability to consistently apply situational awareness and critical thinking regarding the overall outbound process.**
**Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.**
**Motivation – grow/learn/progress to next level in skills (willingness ability to cross train).**
**Ability to meet work schedule and meet overtime requirements.**
**Education & Special Trainings:**
**High School diploma or GED equivalent.**
**Preferred Education:**
**Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.**
**Qualifications & Experience:**
**Two years of experience in order management, distribution or logistics environment.**
**Proficiency in ERP, or WMS systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, etc.).**
**Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.**
**Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.**
**Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.**
**Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.**
**Ability to speak up if see an issue or concern.**
**Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions and policies.**
**Ability to carry out verbal instructions in a professional and respectful manner.**
**Ability to adhere to safety related issues to include, but not limited to good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.**
**May be required to have workplace organization and follow training procedures. Including cross training and teamwork.**
**Quality/Safety – attention to detail; propensity to speak up when and issue occurs, notice it and bring it up**

**Physical & Mental Requirements:**
**May require occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.**
**Job demands include prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, and/or standing as appropriate.**
**May be required to reach, push or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.**
**Requires hand grasp ability.**
**Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.**
**Meets cognitive demands to include visual discrimination/memory, auditory discrimination/memory reading ability, independent decision making and retention of specific knowledge.**
**May be exposed to loud noises.**
**May require the operation of machinery as appropriate for performance of job.**
**Requires use of PPE, such as safety shoes in the warehouse.**
