Oracle Training Specialist

About You:

This role will design creative learning solutions, develop and upskill our teams within Next and any of our impacted partners/suppliers to use our Finance platforms efficiently and effectively.  

Providing an accessible and personalised service to the Finance Team to ensure that our Finance systems are fully utilised and the correct processes and procedures are followed.
 

This role will also deliver our Oracle Finance training programme covering topics such as Chart of Accounts, General Ledger Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Purpose
 

This role will design creative learning solutions, develop and upskill our teams within Next and any of our impacted partners / suppliers to use our Finance platforms efficiently and effectively.  Providing an accessible and personalised service to the Finance Team to ensure that our Finance systems are fully utilised and the correct processes and procedures are followed.

This role will also deliver our Oracle Finance training programme covering topics such as Chart of Accounts, General Ledger Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  
 

Responsibilities
 

Design and Develop Digital Learning  Develop, design and maintain digital learning solutions including E-Learning, video and print resources Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content Carry out learning needs analysis for all areas of Finance, demonstrating a curiosity to get to the heart of the learning need.  Evaluate training to ensure that the learning objectives have been met, make suggestions for improvements. Maintain digital learning materials to ensure the latest information is included and it meets the needs of the business, supplier or TEP client.  Manage online communities Maintain the Learning Management System
 

Digital Adoption Platform (DAP)
 

Develop and design simple in application guidance using Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) to provide just in time learning by a variety of methods e.g. flows, help icons and pop ups. Test each feature and deploy in line with the change management process. Troubleshoot issues working closely with external stakeholders.  Evaluate usage weekly providing suggestions to improve user experience. Maintain features in line with updates and make improvements based on evaluation.
 

Delivering Training
 

Deliver face to face and virtual training sessions throughout Next and TEP to upskill our colleagues, managers, to fully utilise our Finance Systems.   Deliver our Finance training programme to our Finance colleagues. Adapt style to meet the needs of the audience, ensuring each colleague meets their learning needs.  Carry out learning needs analysis for all areas of our Finance systems, demonstrating a curiosity to get to the heart of the learning need.  Maintain training materials to ensure the latest information is included and it meets the needs of the business, Supplier or TEP client.  Understand where training is not the most appropriate solution and be able to make appropriate recommendations.  Provide a high quality customer service experience, supporting and guiding our teams where appropriate. Evaluate training to ensure that the learning objectives have been met.
 

Communication
 

Support with the management of internal communication by developing and delivering well-executed and effective campaigns. Ensure consistency in terms of tone of voice, branding and messaging for Next and TEP Clients. Work collaboratively alongside our internal communications team. 
 

Project Management
 

Work with different stakeholders within Next, Suppliers and TEP to ensure we are delivering a service that meets the needs of that area of the business.  Seek opportunities to challenge processes where appropriate whilst keeping the end user in mind at all times, providing feedback in the correct way. Lead projects through each stage of the project lifecycle. Manage multiple projects on time. Collaborate with the other Finance Transformation team members to ensure that the total service being delivered uses a variety of approaches and reflects the 70:20:10 approach.  
 

Administration
 

Support with the administration of training e.g. organising and distributing resources, booking venues Proactive in booking own travel and accommodation ensuring they are in line with company policy

Essential
 

Experience of designing learning interventions, e.g. Articulate E-learning, Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Affects, Indesign  Project Management experience Knowledge and experience in designing learning interventions, delivering training and facilitating learning Experienced user of GSuite e.g. Mail, Slides, Docs, Meets and Chat Frequent travelling, including to Next Head Office, Next Distribution Centre, Next Stores as well as to TEP clients

Experienced user of digital adoption platform e.g. Oracle Guided Learning Experienced user of a Learning Management System
