Kforce's client is seeking a Senior Oracle/SQL Database Administrator (DBA) for a 12-month contract-to-hire (CTH) opportunity. This fully onsite role (Monday-Friday, with potential for 4-day onsite after initial months) is based in Dallas, TX. Summary: This person will serve as the sole DBA on the team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing mission-critical databases, primarily Oracle (v19) and some SQL Server (2019, upgrading to 2022). This role includes on-call support for emergency issues and monthly after-hours release cycles. This position is 80% DBA work and 20% project coordination, working closely with a dedicated PM and development manager. The DBA will be expected to operate independently, identify opportunities, solve problems, and maintain a high level of caution and attention to detail.
