**_This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month._** **_Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future._** **Technical Skills/Experience:** + Experience with Oracle SQL including analytics and windowing functions, dynamic SQL and set operations + Experience with PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, pipelined table functions and other database objects + Oracle SQL performance tuning using profiling tools, optimizer hints, query refactoring, table partitioning, and index design (including index-organized tables) + Understanding of Oracle's automatic and manual locking mechanisms + Experience with developing custom exception handling in PL/SQL + Experience with Oracle APEX for low-code development + Experience with Unix and Shell scripting + Experience with job scheduler tools such as BMC Control-M or Autosys + Proven track record working in both waterfall and agile SDLC frameworks + Knowledge of the Financial Services industry including middle and back-office functions + Experience in collaborating with business counterparts to understand detailed requirements + Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Responsibilities:** + Oracle Database Development: Create and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database schemas + Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage + Low-Code Application Development: Design and develop low-code applications using Oracle APEX to support business users + CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes + Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all projects + Plan and Execute Development Projects: Collaborate with both the technology team and our Business Partners throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and level 2 support, ensuring high-quality deliverables. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with SQL Server and MS Access + Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL + Experience with web application development + Experience with cloud technologies like AWS + Understanding of data governance frameworks
