CGI is seeking a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with deep functional expertise in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR). While experience in automation testing is an asset, the primary focus is on strong Oracle EBS Finance functional knowledge and robust quality assurance practices. This role will be hybrid from our Atlantic Canada offices (2-3 days a week).
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Lead and execute functional and integration testing for Oracle EBS Finance modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Analyze business and functional requirements to define test scope, strategy, and coverage.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business and technical needs.
• Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing efforts.
• Track and manage defects using Zephyr integrated with JIRA.
• Support regression, integration, and system testing across Oracle EBS environments.
• Contribute to release planning, smoke testing, and production validation activities.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle EBS Finance processes and configurations.
• Recommend QA process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• (Nice to have) Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as TOSCA, Selenium, UFT, or Oracle Application Testing Suite (ATS).
• 7+ years of quality assurance experience with a strong focus on Oracle EBS Finance modules.
• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR) including business processes and configurations.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Proficiency with Zephyr for test management and JIRA for defect tracking.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• (Nice to have) Hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium, UFT, Oracle ATS, or similar tools.
