Manage and optimize Oracle databases that support RIS and PACS solutions, ensuring performance, integrity, and availability for critical healthcare applications.
Your role:
• Ensure the reliability and optimal performance of Oracle databases integral to RIS and PACS, enabling efficient healthcare data management and robust imaging processes.
• Work closely with other Remote Support Engineers(L1), other Technical Support Specialist (L2), healthcare facility IT teams and application developers (L3) to maintain and optimize database environments, resolving complex issues and implementing best practices for healthcare IT systems.
• Deepen your expertise in Oracle database management specifically for healthcare applications, with opportunities to expand into cloud database solutions, virtualization, and advanced healthcare data protocols. Participate in ongoing learning and certification to enhance your technical and professional growth.
You're the right fit if:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• Solid experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, preferably in environments supporting RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) solutions.
• Proficient in Oracle database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, VMware, AWS, and healthcare-specific database protocols is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills; effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to adapt to evolving technologies and work collaboratively in healthcare-focused environments.
