Oracle Custom Apps Team LeadJob location: Hybrid from Brussels
You will be responsible for:
Lead a team of developers in building custom applications using Oracle VBCS, APEX, OIC, JavaScript, REST APIs, and PL/SQL
Define development standards, reusable components, and enforce coding best practices
Solution Architecture & Design
Collaborate with functional teams and solution architects to translate requirements into custom solutions
Design integration and extension strategies aligned with Oracle SaaS upgrade guidelines
Delivery & Coordination
Manage task allocation, code reviews, technical validations, and deployment support
Coordinate with data, integration, and reporting teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery
Quality & Compliance
Ensure that custom solutions meet performance, security, and Oracle compliance requirements
Maintain documentation and technical traceability for audit and operational support
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a technical point of contact for client-side IT and architecture teams
Provide estimates, feasibility assessments, and solution walk-throughs
Mentorship & Team Development
Mentor junior developers and support onboarding of new team members
Promote continuous learning in new PaaS features and Oracle development tools
We require:
8–10 years of experience in custom application development, with at least 2+ years in Oracle Cloud ERP ecosystem
Strong expertise in Oracle APEX, VBCS, OIC, and Oracle SaaS APIs
Proficiency in REST/SOAP web services, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and JSON/XML
Experience in secure, scalable design for SaaS/PaaS extensions
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in SaaS ERP extension projects (Finance, Procurement, SCM)
Familiarity with Oracle’s upgrade-safe customization guidelines
Experience working in Agile delivery models with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD
Oracle PaaS or Application Development certification is a plus
Fluent in Dutch and French is a plus
Able to work 2-3 days onsite at the office in Brussel
