Work You’ll Do

Responsible for driving the planning, design, and implementation aspects across the entire project workstreams. Helps in package selection and analyzing the business value capture and the business case realization. Works with the Program Steering Committee to manage timelines, risks, and issues across upstream and downstream systems/teams for the entire Package program.

For our clients, our Oracle Cloud SCM Managers reduce cost and support innovation at the enterprise level by managing business requirements and leading the functional design, prototyping and process design stages of Oracle Cloud implementations. Responsibilities will include:

Assist in architecting Oracle cloud based PaaS solutions to enable Cloud and Hybrid cloud solutions with consideration for performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and geographically disperse networksPlan and manage Cloud Strategy, Cloud Migration, Application Consolidation, and Database Consolidation engagements leveraging Oracle Cloud technologiesPlan and manage cloud suitability assessments of applications and databases across the IT landscape for large enterprisesManage resources and provide technical guidance to the delivery team

Qualifications

Required:

6+ years of experience architecting complex IT solutions including virtualization9+ years of experience with Oracle software and hardware platforms4+ years of experience with 3rd party hosting and managed services4+ years of experience in Cloud solutions PaaS Strategy and Implementation for mid or large size organizations (this includes private/public Clouds)Relevant experience to enable application suitability assessments including detailed cloud architecture design for global scale and high availabilityExperience with designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platformsExperience with large and complex IT systems in an enterprise environment using virtualization or private Cloud technologies, including VMware, Xen, OpenStack, and Hyper-VExperience with modern development and testing techniques such as continuous delivery and continuous integrationA background in software development and experience in configuration managementTechnology understanding of API management solutions and their role across enabling an enterprise cloudAbility to travel 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableA Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

Experience with Oracle database management including installation, patching, upgrade, implementation of backup and recovery, sizing, tuning, RAC, storageExperience with Oracle hardware platforms including Engineered Systems and Cloud MachinesKnowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and methodologiesExperience in data center migrationsExperience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost ReductionGeneral knowledge of storage: Network Storage Capacity Planning, Storage Area Network (SAN) Planning, Architecture and DesignExperience with Java application architecture and developmentInfrastructure automation using DevOps scripting

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,600 - $241,000

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
