We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The role of the OR Tech I is to assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment and supplies. The surgical technologist in the first scrub role handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The OR Tech I has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. **What qualifications you will need:** + Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT) + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + On year prior experience in a similar size facility with similar services provided is preferred Research Medical Center (https://researchmedicalcenter.com) is a 585+ bed hospital.
