What You'll Do
As an essential partner to our Surgical Services teams, you will:
+ Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution for all OR, pre-op, post-op, PACU, and anesthesia supplies.
+ Maintain supply readiness Operating Rooms and all perioperative support spaces.
+ Serve as the primary liaison for vendors, including product follow-ups, supply coordination, and bill-only processing.
+ Monitor and evaluate inventory levels daily; adjust par levels and ensure timely replenishment.
+ Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding supply needs, product substitutions, and equipment availability.
+ Ensure supply accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain clean, organized storage locations.
+ Troubleshoot supply disruptions, delays, and inventory inaccuracies by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain workflow continuity.
+ Respond swiftly to evolving needs in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, ensuring no interruption to patient care.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a dependable, highly organized, detail-driven team member who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment and takes pride in supporting patient care behind the scenes.
Education
+ High School Diploma or GED, required
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Experience
+ Minimum of three years in materials management OR
+ Minimum of three years broad OR/Surgical Services experience, required
+ If Surgical Services experience is presented, it must have included direct involvement in materials management.
Required Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities
+ Exceptional attention to detail, time management, organization, and follow-through
+ Ability to excel in a fast-paced and demanding surgical environment
+ Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions that maintain workflow continuity
Preferred Skills
+ Prior experience in OR/Surgical Services materials management, logistics, planning, or operational support
