Schedule:  12:00 PM - 8:30 PM                                    

SUMMARY:
As an OR Assistant, your exceptional organization and collaboration abilities assist in the operational success of the unit and patient outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Uses team effort to accomplish room turnover within acceptable time frames. Primarily responsible for cleanliness and safety of environment for staff, medical staff, patients, residents, and students setting; work as a team to accomplish room turnoverProvides education, training, and guidance to less experienced individuals. Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. One (1) year patient care and/or operating room experience in an accredited hospital preferred.Basic computer skillsDemonstrate understanding of aseptic technique

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
