Preferred: BSN strongly encouraged. + Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts + Work experience in unit specific specialty preferred. As a Service Line Resource for our OR/ASC Team, you will be responsible for the following: + Acts as a resource in the service to provide ongoing support incorporating evidence based practice. + Collaborates with the Nurse Manager, Lead Clinical Nurse, Materials Management, Central Materials Services and vendors to provide education and set up in-services for staff relating to area of specialty. + Provides and/or coordinates in-service education on new equipment, procedures, or processes. + Precepts and educates orientation of new staff to the specialty. + Assist with assigning of staff to cases in the specialty to achieve continued competence in all specialties. + Maintains advanced competence to scrub and circulate in all specialties.As an Equipment/Materials Trial Facilitator, you will be responsible for:​ + Coordinates new equipment/supply trials and implementation in a cost efficient manner. + Facilitates the new equipment/materials process by:◦Meeting with vendors to learn of new equipment/materials options + Coordinating trial period, which involves intricate scheduling among several key players over the intended period of time + Collaborating with team to address roadblocks and encourage standardization.
