Optical Technician

Summary: Seeking an Optical Technician with expertise in optical alignment and lab experience for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of precision opto-mechanical components.

Requirements:

Prior lab experience Must be a US persons status (ITAR position) Ability to work in cleanroom dress Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity Proficient soldering skills Ability to work with small parts under a microscope for extended periods

Preferred Skills:

AS in Opto-Mechanical, Optics or Electronics or equivalent experience Knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers, and laser beam profiling equipment

Responsibilities:

Product/component level assembly Optical alignment and testing of optical and laser components Assembly processes including soldering, adhesive bonding, UV curing, and mechanical assembly Cleaning and inspecting optics and mechanical parts Optical, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting and repair General cleaning and upkeep to uphold cleanroom environment Follow company laser safety practices

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
