Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a meticulous and detail-oriented finance expert to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, reporting, and leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute monthly financial close processes efficiently, ensuring compliance with US standards and accurate consolidation of financial results.
• Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, and roll-forwards while maintaining a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor foreign currency impacts and analyze inventory movements, emphasizing gross margin and aging value.
• Review and validate financial data from domestic and international operations, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
• Analyze variances between forecast and budget, providing detailed explanations and actionable insights.
• Participate in monthly reviews to track productivity, yields, and work-in-progress trends.
• Ensure standard costs for new part numbers are established and significant fluctuations are well-documented.
• Manage worldwide transfer pricing to ensure adherence to tax regulations and compliance standards.
• Maintain controls to safeguard accurate physical inventories, including establishing necessary reserves.
• Assist in attesting to the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and accounting.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or controlling roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in document control, scanning, and compiling processes to ensure accuracy and organization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial metrics and trends.
• Familiarity with managing foreign currency impacts and international financial operations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights and collaborate with leadership.
• Proven ability to lead teams, ensuring motivation, engagement, and high performance.
• Experience in driving budgeting and forecasting processes, including long-term strategic planning.
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards in financial reporting.
