Optical 3D Printing Application and Product Development Engineering Manager
**Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Optical 3D Printing Application and Product Engineering Manager, leading Application and Product Engineers team to deliver highly customized ophthalmic lens products for smart/AI and AR glasses. This role is instrumental in driving application development, product engineering, and team effectiveness to deliver breakthrough solutions with optics 3D printing technology. **Required Skills:** Optical 3D Printing Application and Product Development Engineering Manager Responsibilities: 1. Build and lead a multidisciplinary team including application engineers, optical and product engineers, as well as technical specialists to focus on the exploration, identification, and development of new ophthalmic lens applications for optical 3D printing technology, guiding projects from pre-New Technology Introduction (NTI) through New Product Introduction (NPI) 2. Plan, prioritize, and track application and product engineering projects, delivering against cost, quality, and schedule objectives 3. Lead project reviews, risk management, and reporting for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver successful technology transfer and scaling at contract manufactures 4. Collaborate with process R&D, materials, system architect, and software engineering teams to define and develop new products, features, and requirements of optical 3D printing technology 5. Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional growth. Set clear performance goals and ensure accountability for deliverables **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 6. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline 7. 3+ years of experience managing teams for high-volume consumer products or equivalent experience 8. 8+ years of relevant experience in additive manufacturing, with solid knowledge of optical 3D printing principles (including but not limited to stereolithography, two-photon polymerization, DLP, or inkjet and laser-based systems) 9. Proven track record in application development and new product introduction in the optical/additive manufacturing field with experience of CAD, simulations tools, and data analysis for optical/mechanical systems 10. Demonstrated experience leading technical project teams, managing engineering deliverables, building partnerships and working effectively in a highly collaborative and productive environment **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 11. PhD preferred with 5+ years industry experience 12.
